Beginning with the Gita
A first path into the Bhagavad Gita - not as scripture to master, but as a manual for attention read three ways.
The Gita meets its reader in the middle of a crisis - Arjuna's, and usually one's own. This short path does not attempt the whole text. It approaches from three directions: first the Gita as a working manual for attention, then the discipline of returning to oneself that the text keeps demanding, and finally three verses small enough to carry when the reading is done.
Take the essays in order, a day or more apart. The gaps are part of the path.
