For Difficult Seasons
Three essays for the stretches when practice feels impossible - small rites, honest rest, and verses for beginning again.
Every practice life includes seasons when the practice collapses - illness, grief, overwork, or the grey stretches with no name. This path is for those seasons. It asks almost nothing: a small morning rite that survives bad weeks, permission to rest before collapse requires it, and three verses for the mornings when starting over is the whole practice.
If you are in such a season now: read slowly, skip freely, and let finishing be optional. The path will keep.
